The Hockey skills continue to develop...

Hockey coaching is always a popular time for Room 2.  

We have many budding hockey players and a few who are doing well playing outside of school.  

The children are learning lots of the individual hockey skills needed to be a great players and are also learning how to play as a member of a team.

Keep up the fantastic work Room 2!

Hockey coaching

We have been lucky to have Lynne come into school twice this term to teach us some hockey skills.

We have been learning about correct 'hockey position', 'trapping', 'pushing'and 'tackling' the ball.  

We have also been able to put some of these things into practice in mini game situations.
